LED technology and design have evolved considering these factors, thus reducing light trespass and distributing light down where needed, not upwards or outwards. Here is a fully encapsulated, flexible linear LED fixture suitable for applications that require a pop of color. The KURV housing is designed with an interior "parabolic" wall allowing the light to bounce off the housing more effectively. Colors include green, blue, red, and amber. Red and amber are turtle-friendly, FWC (Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission) approved. The amber color helps preserve sea turtles by not leading them away from the ocean as traditional white LEDs would.
