Professional and amateur athletes revel in their sport of choice, but safety always comes first through adequate protection and the right equipment to play the game. Many athletes probably never stop to think about the source of artificial lighting as being inherently “safe .”But, lucky for them, there are lighting professionals like you who help facility owners choose the proper lighting for the activity at hand. And, of course, this lighting must be nearly indestructible due to the risk of being hit by a ball or piece of equipment. Similarly, the illumination must offer visual acuity for the players to perform at their peak when split-second strategic decisions are required.
